Configure Your Audio Settings in Sonik.ai

Written by Antoine Gilbert

Make Sure Sonik.ai Uses the Right Microphone and Speakers

  • As a best practice, we suggest using the Chrome browser. Please confirm that you are using the latest version prior to attempting the steps below.

  • Sonik.ai recommends the use of wired headsets if possible. Wireless or bluetooth headsets may cause poor audio quality due to connectivity issues between the device and your system.

  • As a first step, please run the Pre-Call Test on the TokBox website. This will assess the performance of your hardware and network and provide helpful insight for further troubleshooting.

Before You Start

We recommend:

  • Connecting your headset before opening Sonik.ai

  • Closing any applications that may already be using your microphone

  • Verifying that your microphone is not muted

  • Refreshing Sonik.ai after changing audio settings
