What is this signal for?

The "Influencers" signal allows you to detect leads based on their interactions with LinkedIn posts from specific individuals.

The logic is straightforward:

  • you define relevant individuals in your ecosystem

  • Sonik.ai detects posts published by these individuals

  • anyone who interacts with those posts (likes, comments, etc.) becomes a potential lead

  • these leads are then filtered through your Targeting (Personas and Accounts)

Result: you automatically capture prospects who have demonstrated active interest in voices and thought leaders within your market.

If you are an HR SaaS provider:

  • you track LinkedIn profiles of well-known HR experts or operators

  • these individuals publish content about HR topics

  • HR professionals interact with their posts

  • Sonik.ai detects these individuals

  • they enter your pipeline as potential leads through this signal

Prerequisites

Before configuring Social Intents you must be an administrator of the platform

How to configure Influencers

  1. Go to Admin

  2. Open the Social Intents section

  3. Locate the “Interacted with Influencers” block

  4. Add the LinkedIn profile URLs

Each influencer must be added using a personal LinkedIn URL:

https://www.linkedin.com/in/username

Best practices for influencer selection

  • prioritize active and relevant profiles (posting regularly)

  • include:

    • industry experts

    • operators and practitioners

    • decision-makers in your ecosystem

  • if “influencers” are not obvious in your space:

    • add people from competitor companies

    • add leaders from partner companies

    • add visible profiles followed by your target audience

The key is to track individuals whose audience matches your ICP.

How to access and use these leads

To view your leads:

  1. Go to the Leads section

  2. Filter by the signal “Interacted with Influencers”

Two display modes are available:

  • Qualified by AI Agent enabled
    → only shows leads that match your Targeting (most relevant)

  • disabled
    → shows all detected leads (raw, unfiltered)
